Ministries for Youth
The FFC Youth seek to be an influential force for God through loving Him and others. Awesome fellowship and activities, deeper relationships, and truth-seeking small groups are examples of what you can expect when you get involved with CIA. This group of young people, consisting of 6th grade - Seniors in high school, are committed to developing their relationships with Christ, serving others in the church and the community as well as taking the message of Christ to their friends and families.

Sunday School
Sundays from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
There are two Sunday school classes offered for the youth. A middle school class (6th - 8th grade) and a high school class (9th - 12th grade) are both available for your teen. Our purpose in the Sunday School program at FFC is to assist you, the parents, in teaching the Bible and spiritually developing your children. It is a time for your teens to learn about and be challenged to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Youth Group
Wednesdays 6:45 - 8:30 p.m.
The youth meet on Wednesday nights. We start the night as a large group opening in a time of prayer and then talking about upcoming events, the latest news and what there is to get involved in at FFC. Then, we break up into smaller groups - Middle School Boys, Middle School Girls, High School Boys and High School Girls. In these small group sessions, the leaders challenge the youth to think about God's truth and how they can apply it to their lives. The topics are current and applicable to today's youth culture.

World Vision Sponsorship
Ongoing
The youth currently support 8 year old Estella in Mexico. Each month the youth donate money from their own pockets, allowances and couch crevices to support Estella via World Vision Sponsorship.

The goal of World Vision sponsorship is to equip a child and his or her community to step confidently into the future. That means sponsorship may last for many years. When a sponsored child and his or her community reach this goal, World Vision can move on to serve another community in need.

Pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House
Ongoing
The youth collect pop tabs for the local Ronald McDonald house. These pop tabs are turned in by the Ronald McDonald house to local recycling centers to raise money to provide a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.

You can find our pop tab "house" in the foyer behind the sanctuary - there are also portable, cardboard houses for you to take home and save your pop tabs. To date, more than 400 million pop tabs have been collected, generating more than $4 million dollars in aid for families in need.
