The Craft Club provides an opportunity for women to invite their relatives and friends for an evening of fun.
A wide variety of crafts have been planned throughout the year. We meet on the 3rd Friday of each month.

- Encourage-Her
ENCOURAGE HER is a monthly publication. It is designed to promote the women’s ministries at our Church
and to encourage women of all ages in their walk with the Lord through uplifting articles, personal testimonies,
poems, and recipes. It also serves as an excellent outreach tool for the women of our congregation.

- BLOOM Group
BLOOM is an acronym for Boldly Leaving Off Our Masks.
Our purpose is to build up each other, become spiritual encouragers,
become servants of God, build Christian friendships, grow and learn, have FUN and FELLOWSHIP. The group meets
once a month for activities and outreach.
- Scatter Platter
Scatter Platter meals are prepared each 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesday of the month, September through April (except December).
Meals are served at 5:45 pm to members, leaders, and workers of Wednesday ministries who need to be in place
for their responsibilities by 6:45 pm. Everyone is invited to enjoy the meal and then “scatter” to teach, attend Bible Studies
or the Mountaintop service conducted in our Chapel. A donation of $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children is requested.
Reservations are a must by noon on Mondays.

- Friends for Life
This ministry provides resources and information, and serves as communication between our Church and the Ohio Right To
Life Organization. It also works with the local Right To Life Clinics and provides support, as needed.
APRIL SHOWER 2009 We will be participating in a month long shower for the Pregnancy Care Center.
Donation for baby items can be dropped off at FFC at the Friends for Life Table.

- Showers of Blessings
The Showers Of Blessings Ministry organizes showers for first-time brides and first-time mothers to women who are members
or regular attendees of our Church, and to men who are engaged or having their first child. Other showers, such as
church nursery showers, church kitchen showers, or showers for needy missionaries may also be given, as approved by the
Pastoral staff. Please contact

- Helping Hands
The purpose of the ministry is to extend help to those in need for reasons such as hospitalization, extended illnesses,
or death. Help includes, but is not limited to, meals, cleaning, grocery shopping, child care, and transportation.

- Meals for Moms
Meals and/or gift certificates are provided for first time mothers who are members and regular attendees of our Church.
Five meals and a personal visit are provided as encouragement and friendship.

- Bible Studies
The purpose of this ministry is to provide an opportunity for women of all ages to study the Bible together in
small groups, large groups, or home studies. To grow and mature in their faith and be accountable to one another
and pray for one another. There is currently one Monday morning and two Wednesday evening weekday bible studies.

- SonShine Baskets
This ministry is an encouragement to children by providing baskets of games, crafts, small toys, and goodies to
the children of our Church who have an extended illness, or surgery.

- Sunday School Classes
The Ladies Sunday School Class meets every Sunday at 9:30 am in Room 109, and welcomes women of all ages.
A wide variety of bible studies is taught. Class members can request specific studies, if they wish. Each week,
prayer needs are confidentially addressed in an effort to show support and caring for one another.
At the beginning of each year, class members have the opportunity to draw the name of a class member and make
them their Secret Sister for the year. Participants are encouraged to pray for their Secret Sister, send her cards
and small gifts throughout the year. Every December a Christmas party is planned for class members. Please note
this Secret Sister drawing is separate from S.O.U.L. Sisters.

- Senior Visitation
This ministry was established to encourage our sick, hospitalized and home bound seniors through cards, visits,
and Scatter Platter meals (which are delivered after Scatter or on Thursday mornings).
Also – In December, we prepare gift bags for our seniors and visit with them as we deliver the bags.

- Soul Sisters
S. O. U. L. is an acronym for
Sharing
Our
Unconditional
Love and encourages women to sign
up for a year-long secret sister ministry designed to encourage one another through prayer, cards, and small gifts.
Women are encouraged to pray and remember their S.O.U.L Sister throughout the year. A January get-together is planned
each year where each person's secret sister is revealed. S.O.U.L. Sisters is open to the congregation-at-large.
Women can join any time during the year.

- 50-50 Tea Club
The 50-50 Tea Club is for ladies 50 years and older. Teas are currently being held once a year, but this is subject to change.
The purpose of the teas is to promote fellowship and encouragement in a relaxing atmosphere. The teas also serve as an
outreach opportunity for friends and neighbors, in that members are encouraged to invite same. Younger women are encouraged
to serve at the teas and help prepare the food with the direction of the Coordinator.
