Faith Fellowship Church has a long history in this community! Beginning in June of 1821, the church was formed and known as Bethel Baptist Church. The small congregation met in homes and a public building until 1824, when they constructed a brick building on the site that is now the Westwood Baptist Memorial Cemetery.
In 1895, the church constructed a new building on Cheviot Avenue and adopted the name Westwood Baptist Church. Some 100 years later, parts of that building, which are still standing today, had to be closed. The congregation needed a new church and chose the site that is today, the location of Faith Fellowship Church. Our current building was dedicated in June of 2000 and keeps the doors open to the community most days of the week.
Though our history is deeply rooted in this community and has been known by different names, our purpose has always been the same - to lead people to faith in Jesus Christ. Our messages each Sunday have not changed either. They are lessons found in the Holy Bible, our final authority in all matters of faith and living.
